Overview
Wabtec UK are a key provider of rail and transit systems and services, including the manufacture of trains and their components. Part of the global rail provider Wabtec, they have been established for over 150 years and form a fundamental and intrinsic part of the UK’s rail industry supply chain.
The challenge
Encompassing multiple UK locations, subsidiaries and a vast range of products and services managing the brand is an enormous task, undertaken by the Group Marketing & Communications Manager based in Burton.
Her challenge was to find a supplier who could deliver the full suite of marketing services whilst helping her achieve the goals set in her marketing strategy for the UK Wabtec business units.
Our solution
Having just developed our complete and extensive range of marketing services for clients (“The Works”) we were confident we could provide the support required. After many fact finding meetings and analysis of the businesses marketing needs we offered a total solution that would fulfill all of Wabtec UK’s brand management requirements. This included:

Print Management of all paper and merchandise products used by the UK business from technical to promotional and utilising our web-based ordering system.

From helping with strategy to press releases and technical case studies to business cards we’ve enjoyed every moment. Brand and messaging is now more consistent and we’ve helped develop more innovative ways to help communicate the businesses products and services in what can be quite a traditional marketplace.
Marketing assets are under more control and reporting and usage more visible now too.
